My client is a major manufacturer who currently has a position for a Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

You will require the following skills and experience:-
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3+ year’s experience.
• Sound understanding of material selection and tolerances.
• AutoCad / Inventor experience is essential.
• You will have experience within mechanical design / special purpose equipment / automation.
Your Roles & Responsibilities will include:-
• Full understanding of customer requirements.
• Helping in the design of solutions ranging from individual piece parts to complete systems.
• Material definition, tolerance specification and understanding of system constraints.
• Support and interface with manufacturing team to produce finished products.
• Overseeing of assembly and testing of completed products.
The company offers an attractive package including yearly bonus, pension scheme and healthcare options. The annual salary is up to £43,000 depending on experience.
